Robert W. “Bob” Densmore, 51, of Dagsboro, Del., formerly of New Castle, Del., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. He was born in Wilmington, Del., on March 6, 1966, to Glen R. Densmore Sr. and Nancy (Dempsey) Densmore, and graduated from Delcastle High School in the Class of 1985.
Densmore worked in auto parts for Gambacorta Motors in New Castle for 20 years. After moving to Sussex County in 2005, he worked for the Lance Company and at the time of his death was employed at Cripple Creek Country Club in Dagsboro, Del. Densmore was an avid surf-fisherman who also enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a past member of Wilmington Manor Fire Company and a member of the East Sussex Moose Lodge 2542 in Roxana, Del.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Densmore; his mother, Nancy Densmore; and a brother, Glen R. Densmore Jr. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Houston) Densmore; his 3-year-old son, Robert G. Densmore; and his father, Glen R. Densmore and his wife, Jean, of Ocean View, Del.
A visitation was scheduled for Jan. 22, 2018, at Melson Funeral Services, Ocean View, Del., with entombment on Jan. 23, 2018, at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, Del.
