The beloved Julie Eckler passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018. Her battle with cancer and pain is over. She loved life and was such a joy to be with. Her world was centered around her only daughter, Brandi, who lit up her life. They shared so many happy memories with their love of travel, music, movies and, of course, shopping.

Eckler worked at Beebe Healthcare for 29 years and loved her job. She made hundreds of friends and had the best coworkers anyone could ask for in the Case Management Department.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi; her mom and stepdad, Carolyn and Mike DellaCamera; two sisters, Valarie Osterhout and Tara Knobbe; a super brother, Paul Eckler; and her many nieces and nephews, who called her “Aunt Jule.”

As per her wishes, interment will be private, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Del., since she had proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, stationed in California and Lakenheath, England. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were suggested to the Delmarva Cat Connection, since she loved her “fur grandbabies” so much. Condolences may be sent online at www.melsonfuneralservices.com.
