Ricky Preston Foskey, 59, of Georgetown, Del., passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born in Salisbury, Md., on Aug. 30, 1958, to the late Preston H. Foskey and to Dianna Sanders, who survives him.

Foskey was a skilled painter who over the years worked for various painting companies. He had a good heart and was always willing to help out anyone in need. He also had an ornery streak, and was full of life and fun. Foskey enjoyed a cold beer, classic rock-and-roll music and riding on his golf cart. He loved his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Foskey was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Gloria Jean Foskey, in 2011; his grandparents, Virgil H. Foskey and Hazel M. Foskey, and Joseph H. Jones and Blanche M. Jones; and a brother, Darryl Craig Foskey. He is survived by his mother, Dianna Sanders, and her husband, Harold, of Liberty, S.C.; two sisters, Crystal Price and her husband, Burleigh, and Lisa Toomey and her husband, Steve, all of Georgetown; a sister-in-law, Connie Foskey of Millsboro, Del.; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the Dagsboro Fire Hall, 31818 Waples Street, Dagsboro, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial donations to help offset final expenses for Crystal and Burleigh Price; P.O. Box 102; Horntown, VA 23395.
