Allen L. Littleton, 64, of Georgetown, Del., passed away at his residence on Sept. 1, 2017. He was born Sept. 15, 1952, in Frankford, Del., near Bayard, to the late Herman P. and Daisey Mae Davis.
Littleton served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He also was the father of a son, Allen Littleton Jr. Littleton worked hard all his life, including being an employee of Delaware Technical Community College and working as a maintenance man at the Holiday Inn in Bethany Beach, Del.
He was an animal lover and especially fond of dogs. He loved shooting pool and going to the casino. He was a Delmarva Shorebirds fan and loved going to the games with his pals Al and Kenny. He also loved going every Wednesday to Smith’s Restaurant with Al and Kenny. He loved his dog, Sheba, very much.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Gibson and Sally Walls. Littleton is survived by five sisters, Cathryn Voss and her husband, Daniel, of Laurel, Del., Virginia Gurley and her husband, Don, of Richmond, Va., Sylvia Hughes and her husband, Bob, of Ellendale, Del., Wilma Besnoska of Houston, Del., and Connie Collins and her husband, Alfred, of Georgetown; a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins; two wonderful friends, Al Collins and Kenny, plus all his other friends; and one special nephew he loved like a son, Joey Bailey.
A time of viewing and visitation was scheduled for Sept. 6, 2017, at Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, Del. Interment arrangements were private.
