Byron Jay “B.J.” Wright, 29, the only son of Byron L. Wright and Vicky L. Norwood, was born on Aug. 21, 1987, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, surrounded by his family and friends.
The family are all sad at the loss of Byron Jay, but they can take comfort in knowing that he gave the gift of life to at least five people and his journey continues through them.
Survivors include his only child, Brooklyn Mae Wright, and her mother, April Grant; his parents, Vicky L. Norwood and her husband, Myron, and Byron L. Wright and his wife, Sharon; his maternal grandmother, Beverly Jackson; his aunts, Bonnie Hall and her husband, Glendon, Peggy Lares, and Valorie Handy and her husband, Bolarius; an uncle, Edwin “Jimmy” Hitchens; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends; his godson, Kay’von Allen; and his special cousin, Tatyana Jackson, who never left his side.
Services were scheduled for March 12, 2017, at Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, Del., with burial following at Indian Mission Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online at www.watsonfh.com.
