RoseMarie “Hawaiian Rose” Mitte, 76, of Selbyville, Del., and formerly of Rockaway, N.J., died Friday, July 15, 2016, at home. Mitte was born in Hamakuapoko, Maui, Hawaii, daughter of the late Ramon Mitte and Carrie (Pagan) Mitte.
She was a retired quality control officer from Pfizer Pharmaceutical and was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Keenwick Sound, St. Luke Catholic Church Prayer Group and East Sussex Moose Lodge.
Mitte is survived by two sons, Lance R. Rebels and his wife, Sue, of Bristow, Va., and Eric D. Rebels and wife, Lori, of Whippany, N.J.; two daughters, Ronnelle L. Rebels and her husband, Robert, of Monroe, Tenn., and Stephanie A. Knerr and her husband, Alton, of Mt. Olive, N.J.; a sister, Virginia Gualdarama of Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii; two brothers, Pablo Metiz and Andrew Mitte of Pearl City, Hawaii; and six grandchildren, Zachary Rebels, Shalene Bolan, Thomas Bolan, Zachary Erb, Joe Teschner and Austin Khalatbari.
