Kathleen Toomey Lentz, 56, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, in Bethany Beach, Del. She was born Feb. 24, 1960, in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Camp Springs, Md.
A graduate of LaReine Catholic School, she studied social work at the University of Maryland. She worked in management positions at the Encore Travel Club, Ticketmaster D.C. and AARP. She was also the owner and president of Endless Summer Harvest in Northern Virginia.
She was a loving wife, mother and daughter who accepted everyone she met with joy, positivity and a good laugh. She will forever be remembered for spreading peace and love.
Lentz was preceded in death by her father, James F. Toomey, and brother, David F. Toomey. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Lentz; daughters Emily Lentz and Bethany Creel; mother, Carole Toomey; and brother, James Toomey.
A memorial services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, Del., where friends may call after 10 a.m.
