Randall L. Evans, 59, of Frankford, Del., passed away suddenly on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at his home.
“Randy” was born in Salisbury, Md., on Jan. 14, 1958, son of Joseph Albert Evans and the late Gladys Orna (Lathbury) Evans. He was a graduate of Indian River High School, Class of 1977.
He was a self-employed contractor, owning Randy Evans Construction, LLC. Evans loved taking vacations and traveling. He and his father could be found every Sunday morning at Dirty Harry’s Restaurant in Fenwick Island, Del. He also frequented Scotty’s Bayside Tavern near Fenwick Island, Del., and he was a huge Washington Redskins fan.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his fiancée, Terry Malcolm, in 2014 and a nephew, William Cropper. He is survived by his father, Joseph Albert Evans of Frankford; three daughters, Danelle Adams and her husband, Curtis, of Seaford, Del., Randi Evans of Seaford and Cassandra Evans of Selbyville, Del.; three siblings, Roy Evans and his wife, Barbara, of Dagsboro, Del., Terri Beers and her husband, Scott, of New Port Richey, Fla., and Tammy Mitchell and her husband, George, of Selbyville; six grandchildren, Ryan Adams, Caleb Adams, Alana Evans, Chad Brittingham Jr., A’zeer Hurst and Kylynn Evans; and his closest friends, Matthew Evans and Dave Showalter.
