John Meister, 69, of Pasadena, Md., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017. He was born Aug. 4, 1948, to Edward and Jane Meister.
Meister retired from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory after 42 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1971 and then went on to serve as a staff-sergeant in the Army Reserves for 22 years.
Meister loved spending time with his family and always had a great story.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Sue Miller; his loving children, Amanda Meister, John Meister Jr., Christina Ranck and Angela Roberts; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Meister was a loving father and great friend. He will be greatly missed.
