Frank L. Bach, 88

Frank L. Bach, 88, of Millsboro, Del., widower of Lillian J. (O’Connell) Bach, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2017. Born on Oct. 10, 1928, in Royersford, Pa., he was the son of the late William H. Bach and Myrtle V. (Page) Bach.

Bach served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, for two years in the Pacific Theater and six years in the Navy Reserves. Bach worked for 48 years in the glass industry, retiring in 1992.

He was a member of Millsboro American Legion Post 28. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, yardwork and helping anyone who needed a hand. He was the life of every party he attended.

Bach was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, William H. Bach, husband of Dorothy, Harry E. Bach, husband of Jayne, Ida L. Reifsnyder, wife of William, Charles R. Bach Sr., husband of Marie, and Berniece V. Wezel, wife of Emanuel. Surviving him are his children, Lynda G. Bach and Bridget A. Choyce of Newport, N.C., Diane L. Bach and Margret O’Malley of Adrian, Mich., Cheryl A. Imes and her husband, Robert L. Imes, of Schwenksville, Pa., and Randy S. Bach; his grandchildren, Steven R. Bach and Allivia L. Bach; and many nieces and nephews.

Bach will be buried with his wife at the Limerick Garden of Memories in Royersford, Pa. Funeral arrangements were being coordinated by Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro, Del., and Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home in Royersford, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to American Legion Post 28; 31768 Legion Rd.; Millsboro, DE 19966.
