Betty L. Johnson, 84, of Ocean City, Md., died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at home. She was born in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late Patrick Duggan and Virginia (Harrison) Duggan.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Matthews By-the-Sea United Methodist Church in Fenwick Island, Del.
Johnson is survived by her husband of 66 years, Paul K. Johnson of Ocean City; her children, Paul K. Johnson Jr. and his wife, Janice, of St. Augustine, Fla., Duane R. Johnson and his wife, Patricia, of Felton, Del., Cheryl V. Johnson and her husband, Michael, of York, Pa., and Vicki L. Johnson of Ocean City; five grandchildren, Paul K. Johnson III, Benjamin Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Christopher Johnson and Ryan Johnson; and eight great-grandchildren, Cayleigh, Ashley, Zachary, Meghan, Christopher Johnson Jr., Austin, Emily and Hunter.
A funeral service was scheduled for Feb. 20, 2017, at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, Del., with the Rev. Bruce Miller officiating. Burial was to be in Denton (Md.) Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online at www.bishophastingsfh.com.
