Stephen L. Quesada, 66, passed on Friday, July 1, 2016, after a long illness. He was born Feb. 11, 1950, in Milford, Del., to the late William Quesada and Nancy Pepper Quesada.
Quesada was an avid hunter and fisherman. He held a captain’s license and chartered a party boat. Quesada was known for his sense of humor and often enjoyed a good laugh. He was also a very good storyteller. But, more importantly, he was remembered as wonderful father.
He was a career serviceman, retiring as a supply sergeant from the Delaware National Guard after 22 years of dedicated and honorable service.
Quesada leaves to cherish his loving memories four daughters, Kathie Lawrence and her husband, Sinh, of Vacaville, Calif., Ann Marie Green and her husband, Henry, of Neffs, Pa., Julie Holston of Bridgeville, Del., and Nancy Willis and her husband, Ronnie, of Bridgeville; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, and another one on the way. The family extended special thanks and acknowledgement to Donna Quesada, his wife of 20 years, caretaker and lifelong friend.
A funeral service was scheduled for July 10, 2016, at the Watson Funeral Home, with interment immediately following at Woodlawn Memorial Park, both in Millsboro, Del. Condolences may be sent online at www.watsonfh.com.
